Sunday XI get their season off to a winning start with an all round performance from the ‘Wily old fox’ Alan White!

On a slow Saltford wicket the visitors slowly but surely reached a respectable total of 155 for the loss of 6 wickets. Butcombe 20/20 KO Cup Draw & League Cup Prelim Draw

We have been drawn away against Stratton on the Fosse on Thursday the 17th of May in the preliminary round of the Butcombe Cup.  The game is scheduled for a 6.15 start. The Draw for the Main Saturday League cup competition has also taken place and we have been drawn away at Pak Bristolians on Wednesday 16th May in the preliminary round.  If we beat Pak Bristolians, we will face University Staff at home on…

Comedy Night Raises £458

A big thank you to everyone who attended the Comedy Night at the end of March, The evening with the help of the raffle and the auction raised £458 for the club. A big thank you to Ross for his work on the wonderful prizes for the auction, to Shaun for his comparing and of course to the One Direction boys for the butt of  all  the jokes!. Barbeque Evening – Saturday May 12th

The first of we hope several barbeques throughout the summer will be at the Cricket Club on Saturday May 12th, starting at 7pm. Advertising Board Promotion

Friday Night Senior Nets Start

Senior nets on a Friday start’s this Friday April 13th from 6pm. There are more clubs now netting on Friday in preparation for the senior weekend cricket. We hope to utilise each Friday as an additional night to our normal Wednesday night training sessions. Everyone is welcome to start the weekend off with a good net session!!!!.

Brislington Game Cancelled

Due to drainage problems the pre-season friendly at Brislington on Sunday April 15th, has unfortunately been cancelled. However we have agreed to visit Brislington now on Sunday April 29th, which now replaces the home game versus Winterbourne.

Diap’s and Chez see us home at Keynsham

An unbeaten 8th wicket partnership of 73 runs by Chez Dyer (37no) and Chris Diaper(36no) saw the team home against Keynsham Cricket Club in our first pre-season friendly of the season. Outdoor Training

We start our senior outdoor training on Wednesday from 6pm. The investment in the mobile net should help improve our training sessions and we look forward to seeing as many playing members as possible. In preparation for the start of the season we are asking as many senior players and junior players to support the 2 Saturdays allocated to do the ground maintenance in preparation of the start of the season.
